South Columbus High School is a four year public high school, established in 1992 by the consolidation of Nakina, Tabor City, and Williams Township High Schools which were accredited by North Carolina State Department of Education and Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.  We are located four miles east of Tabor City, North Carolina on Highway 701. 

South Columbus High School is dedicated to total school improvement.  Our vision focuses on improved academic performance, increased student involvement, and commitment to educational success.  Implementation of vigorous academic standards, along with increased dedication to the development of the total child through emphasis on the student's mental, social, and psychological needs, will produce graduates ready to embrace the 21st century with the skills needed for success.

2021 South Columbus Stallions
Football Season
Your South Columbus Stallions will begin their mandatory JV and Varsity Football practices on Monday August 2nd, starting at 3:00. Any player wanting to play football needs to have a completed physical and be prepared with cleats, shorts and t-shirt. We are excited about the upcoming season and look forward to getting another successful season underway!
The Varsity Stallions football team will also have their opening scrimmage at West Brunswick High School on Wednesday August the 11th. Our second scrimmage will be held at South Brunswick High School on Friday August 13th. The second scrimmage will be a Varsity and JV scrimmage.
